Looking Ahead

I'm no motorcyclist.
However, I think getting 5o miles to the gallon is a great way to go.
Not being a motorcycle follower I find it interesting that my tastes run with the vintage.
Here is the bike of my dreams...well not my dreams, but my hopes.
Sometime in the next 5 years I hope to own something like this.
Know that my desire to own is not only so I can ride on the weekends with my hot wife aboard,
but it is to be used as a commuter bike. I plan to ride to and from work, most days, on this sweet thang.

That is a beautiful bike.  I can just see you and your hot wife Betsy coasting along on this hot ride!

you and my husband would get along REALLY well....I told him he could get one if we moved to LA, where they are useful year-round. :)

Gotta love a Triumph.  Great band in the '80s too.

Heck yeah!!! You can ride them in Phoenix only in the winter... unless you like the hair dryer effect in the summer.  Nice option.

Hey Bro- That is a sweet bike. Tell Bets to start looking for chaps. We can all four ride our bikes to Hooters for bike night. Just kidding :)

nah, i ganked that image from the state department's website. the url for it is: http://travel.state.gov/images/epassport.jpg
i think frank's a-ok. i doubt the state department would put a real person's actual information up for something like that...and if they DID, it's their bad, not mine. similarly, the other one is from an immigration website that is quasi-official.

i thought about the identity thing, no worries.

Thanks for the info. on the flower!  I had no idea what the name of it was, but it's really unique and pretty!  Kinda sad that it's part of the ONION family...that makes it loose some of it's 'nice, feminine, delicate-ness!' ha!

Ah, Dustan, I never replied to your last comment a while ago. Sorry about that. I meant to, but what does that really mean, anyways? I don't think it means nuthin. Man, sexy bike. I hope to get mine up and running. Then get my license. It's been sitting a couple years. It's a 1980 Yamaha 300. It's a really fun little bike. Nice for buzzing around backroads and not highways. My dad got it up to about 55ish and said it would probably top out comfortably at 55 or 60, so probably no long highway trips, but most of my driving is local, so the bike would be perfect, especially with 3+ bucks a gallon. I want to get that thing working bad. Have to start setting some money aside for it.

Oh ya, about school. What you said was what appealed to me about the school. Their focus was on making the student a fuller soul, more aware, like you said, a better citizen, and that's what I always wanted in an education. I guess I'm lucky, cause I can afford not to be purely practically minded, cause I don't have a wife or kids to care for, so I don't have to pursue a practical choice for an occupation or career. I can live in a tree house and eat squirrel for the next ten years and not be neglecting my duties. Hope you're well.

May? Wow, worse than me. I just want to know what you're reaction was to your wife's recently published photo of you. I hope she had your blessing, otherwise, geeeez. Anyways, hope you're doing well.

Nice on the bike, man! That's so rad. Mine is done for. A guy in the condo complex thing I live in asked me if I'd sell it to him for $100 cause he just wants something to tinker on. I was a little offended at first, but now I think it's a pretty good deal. Looks like another year without a bike or license for me. About coming up here, you better get on a riding regiment and work up your endurance, cause I hear long trips on a bike are like riding a horse, complete with it's own painful limp and all, but I wouldn't know.

Didn't you guys go see DAvid Wilcox? How was it?
